JASKÓŁKA

Authorized Elementary School

Adequate signage in educational facilities plays a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort of both students and teachers, enabling efficient navigation through the building, fostering a friendly, organized learning and working space.

The design work we completed for Autoska Jaskolka Elementary School in Wroclaw included logo redesign, selection of typography and color system, and development of comprehensive signage and wayfinding for the facility.

Graphics

“We enriched the entire project with carefully selected graphics, which we placed in selected rooms and on the facade of the school building. We chose animal motifs that pay tribute to the legacy of Simona Kossak and her extraordinary passion for the natural world. These illustrations not only decorate the space, but also aim to inspire young minds. We tried to ensure that each graphic element harmoniously harmonizes with the character of the educational facility, making the space child-friendly.”

Wayfinding and signage

Adequate wayfinding and signage in educational facilities, especially in elementary school, should be clear, intuitive and tailored to children’s perception, facilitating their safe and efficient movement through the building.

Swallow’s students developed the names for their classes themselves, so the naming system is original and unique, instead of the classic division into classes.
