There are places where wayfinding plays a particularly key role in enhancing the comfort of the building. Such places include large, multi-level public institutions, which have very specific requirements. In our portfolio of realizations you will find many corporate headquarters, but also clinics and offices, where we have taken care of their individual needs in addition to the basic system. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Universal language<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Silesian Provincial Office was an example of such a project. As the Office mainly serves foreigners, the most important aspect of this project was to ensure readability for people with different language needs, so the whole system was based on suggestive pictograms. Thanks to simple, universal markings, any user can quickly read the information, regardless of what language they speak. We also designed four large directional signs strategically placed in the main lobby. All the information placed on them is in the languages most commonly used here, namely Polish, English, Ukrainian and Russian. In the service room, we placed signage and job numbering consistent with the entire system. To mark information desks, photocopiers, photo booths, office spaces and toilets, we used double-sided semaphores visible from a distance and signs above the entrance. With their help, from the beginning of the line of communication, the visitor can already see what rooms are in a given corridor, and before entering, a placard confirms to him whether his destination is behind the door. Such solutions significantly facilitate navigation and identification of individual points. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Visual distinction of the marking system<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Pratia Clinical Research Center is a challenging project due to the multitude of rooms and signage that should be in one place. This includes a system of information intended for patients and staff. In many cases, placing a large number of signs on one wall, board, or door causes chaos and illegibility. To prevent this, we made a visual distinction between areas intended for visitors and those used only by clinic staff. The use of a different color scheme proved helpful in this regard. Thanks to this solution, each user can recognize at a glance which signs are directed to him. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Functional wayfinding<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our second task for maintaining wayfinding functionality for this project was to create a system that the client can easily update on its own. Pratia is in the realm of constant development, so we found it ideal to use magnetic boards that allow us to adjust the appearance of the list of clinics and doctors to the current state of affairs. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Intuitive space orientation and room signage systems find their application not only in corporations. Individual customer needs should always be taken into account during design. It is crucial to analyze the users and the problems they will face in the space. We must remember that visits to places such as clinics or offices often involve and are associated with stress, so it is all the more important to facilitate movement and maximize the comfort of the stay. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
