Over time, they have been replaced by modern apartment buildings and large estates, where you can get lost wandering through a maze of streets. Is wayfinding on the estate necessary?<\/h3>\n\nWe are sure that at least once you happened to wander around the housing estate where a friend of yours lives; you probably searched for the right cage or apartment number. This would not have happened if the wayfinding of the place had been properly designed and placed in visible places. Unambiguous street names, block numbering clues, clear apartment numbering and a legend indicating which floor each apartment unit is located on – how much easier life would be if all this was reliably and clearly done. \n<\/span>\n\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Durability <\/h3>\n\nLegibility is one thing, but in the case of wayfinding of an estate, the durability of individual elements is also extremely important, as many of them are placed outdoors and thus exposed to adverse weather conditions. It is therefore important that they are made of suitable materials, such as those that can withstand rain, snow and gusty wind gusts. <\/span>\n\n \n\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sometimes less is more<\/h3>\n\nWayfinding, no matter what kind of place it applies to, has the property that in excess it can overwhelm the user of a given space and introduce unnecessary chaos. Also in the case of the estate’s signage system, it is important to choose the number of directional signs appropriately, so that they clearly indicate the way to the destination, while not dominating the space. Simple and clear messages located at key points of the estate should perfectly perform the navigational function and make it easy for first-time visitors to this space to get exactly where they want to go. \n<\/span>\n\n \n\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
