McCormick & Company, Foods, Ingredients and Flavors – the world leader in flavors is our next exceptional client. The mission of this company is to spread the passion for diverse flavors. It is an international company, producing herbs, spices, mustards, ketchups, pickles, vinegars and flavor salts. It offers its products in Poland under the Kamis and Galeo brands.

Aromatic graphics and image compositions

The client wanted the company’s interior to be filled with unusual aromas, hence the idea on McCormick’s part that the graphics in the open space and meeting rooms should depict different spices. The naming of the meeting rooms was also to be based on the same theme. In the smaller ones, instead of wallpaper, there were compositions of paintings, depicting various spices with a description and a map of their origin. We were pleased to help realize this concept and developed visually consistent graphics depicting various spices, to which entire floors and individual rooms are dedicated.

Modern wayfinding in a historic location

The McCormick office is located in the former Vodka Monopoly plant. Adapting the former factory into an office, entertainment and cultural center allowed us in the creation of wayfinding to refer to the loft character of the complex and modern interior design. This is emphasized by the design of the icons and the typography used. The concept consists of openwork semaphore signs with room names and directional sign icons, as well as signs for doors, desks and lockers. The system was made of steel, which harmonizes with the architecture of the office, as well as the entire Monopolis.

Practical space beautification

In the kitchen of the McCromick office, we designed icons that practically facilitate the search for individual items in the cabinets, while serving, at the same time, as a decoration for simple and classic fronts. The lettering and icons provide a simple and unambiguous way to communicate with office users.

The icing on the cake of the whole project are ledons with signs encouraging relaxation and rest, which are placed in the office kitchens.
