Nowadays, remote work has become very popular. Still, many companies prefer a stationary mode. In order for employees to willingly come to the office, every employer should make sure that their team is comfortable. It goes without saying that no matter where we work, it is important for us to feel comfortable in this space – after all, we spend a large part of our lives there.
Have you ever wondered what elements affect the positive perception of the place where you work?
One of them is certainly space branding, i.e. architectural and graphic details that emphasize the character of a given space. Space branding, although it sometimes includes elements of a particular company’s logo, has no marketing purpose. It is directed at the employee, so its task is to create a friendly space that stimulates creativity, takes care of well-being and builds comfort at work. It’s important that the environment, where we spend most of each day, provides freedom and the right conditions for completing the assigned tasks.

What makes up the elements of space branding?
- company logos inside as well as outside
- neon signs and various types of light installations
- wall murals and wallcoverings
- plotted film patterns on glazing
Wayfinding a space branding
Wayfinding and space branding are elements that should work together. Depending on where you want to use them, they can occur separately or complement each other. In small spaces, only space branding is usually used. In medium-sized interiors, we may already encounter wayfinding, such as room signage, as a complement to space branding. Basic space branding in combination with wayfinding, a form of spatial navigation, helps to enliven and personalize the space a bit, and is a diversifying element. Even a small logo in a conspicuous place or covering the glazing with graphics referring to the brand’s colors is enough to give the interior a unique character.
